If not start again at step 1. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second. Repeat steps a and b in step 6 for each new remote. Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons once again for five passes.

If you key fob no longer unlocks the doors it is time for a new battery. The locks should cycle once to verify that the car has accepted your remote. Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds. Each set represents one pass.

Remove your key from the ignition then wait for doors to lock and then unlock twice. Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters. Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. Turn the ignition to on and then back to off and remove the key from the ignition.

Insert your key into the ignition switch and put it in the run position. This is the best and easiest fix. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed. While there is the possibility of a pretty big electrical issue most of the problems are minor and easy to fix.

Close the driver s door. Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Press and release lock or unlock button.
